Request for Information under the Colorado Open Records Act

The Town of Palisade welcomes inquiries from the public, and will diligently act to respond to written requests for information.

Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, The Town of Palisade assesses fees for the production of records as follows:

*$30.00 per hour for the research and retrieval of records; however, there is no charge for the first hour of time expended in connection with the search and retrieval

*$.25 per page for each standard page;

*Actual cost of providing a copy, printout, or photograph of a public record in a format other than a standard page.


Records will be provided as soon as practicable, but no more than three business days,after receipt of payment for all costs associated with records transmission and for all other fees lawfully allowed.

Town of Palisade Seeking a Planning/Community Development Director

The Town of Palisade is seeking a knowledgeable and creative individual to plan, organize and direct the overall operation of the Planning/Community Development Department including budget preparation and administration. This position acts as staff advisor on community development projects; acts as Town liaison with developers and property owners; is responsible for zoning enforcement and coordination with other Town enforcement functions; is responsible for long range planning projects; performs related work as required. Salary will be based on experience, but will be in the range of $60,000 to $70,000, plus benefits. Palisade is a statutory town under a Council-Manager form of government. This position supervises the activities of various departments within the Public Works sector including, water and wastewater treatment plants, parks, cemetery, streets and drainage systems, utilities and equipment maintenance. Salary will be based on experience, but will be in the range of $70,000 to $80,000, plus benefits. Palisade is a statutory town under a Council-Manager form of government. Town of Palisade Seeking Treasurer

The Town of Palisade is seeking a knowledgeable and creative individual to provide leadership and oversight for the Town of Palisade financial operations. This position is a key participant in the Towns Management Team. The qualifying candidate must have strong management skills and a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably related to governmental financial operations. Required Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or related studies. Master’s degree is considered a plus. Primary responsibilities include investment portfolio management, budgeting and financial reporting. Position will provide oversight and direction for utility billing, customer service, accounts payable, sales tax and payroll as well as financial and compliance audits. Salary will be based on experience, but will be in the range of $68,000 to $78,000, plus benefits. Palisade is a statutory town under a Council-Manager form of government.
